&lt;p&gt;$ml-&amp;gt;send("sendmail","/usr/lib/sendmail -r $from -t -oi -oem");&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is particularly useful if you are mailing from CGI, in which case you add the user account under which your webserver runs to trusted-users.
